Spring is the time to top-dress your planting beds with fresh mulch.
When spring rolls around customers are looking for less expensive ways to improve their landscaping. Mulching or re-mulching is just the thing! At J. Jacobs we recommend putting down a new layer of mulch every other year. Typically we use a dark stained mulch as it holds its dark color longer, making your landscaping look freshly mulched for a longer period of time. When spreading a new layer of mulch we usually do an even layer approximately three inches thick. A re-mulch, or top-dress, is approximately only one inch thick. Fresh mulch really helps to bring out the contrast of colors in plantings.
J. Jacobs provides delivery and installation of dark brown hardwood mulch. Contact us today to order your truckload!
